Welcome to CWA Academy Trust
CWA Academy Trust is a multi academy trust founded by the College of West Anglia, an established high quality provider of education with campuses in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
Our first secondary phase academy, King’s Lynn Academy, opened in 2010, followed by Downham Market Academy in 2013, two primary phase academies – Nelson Academy in Downham Market and Eastgate Academy in King’s Lynn – followed in 2014 alongside our third secondary phase academy, King Edward VII Academy. Southery Academy became our third primary phase academy in 2016, North Wootton Academy and Upwell Academy joined in early 2017 with Emneth Academy due to join later in the year.
Our family of academies helps us fulfil our desire of establishing a vibrant education system that enthuses young people and supports economic development of the region. As a successful education provider, we believe we can also contribute to the primary and secondary phases of education raising standards throughout and aiding transition through the system. Our academies promote individual learning through inspirational teaching and challenging lessons, driving up academic standards and achievement rates well above national levels.
Like all strong families, the CWA Academy Trust family of academies seeks to offer mutual support to one another, develop shared learning and understanding, collaborate to achieve better outcomes, recognise unique qualities and differences, be positive and aspirational, focus on the successes of individuals and develop a culture of healthy competition.
